On October 5, 2019, Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers will be holding an Open House in celebration of Pope Francis’ Extraordinary Month of Mission.

Missioners from Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers will be joined by missioners from Maryknoll Sisters and Maryknoll Lay Missioners to share stories about mission in the countries where we have served the poor and marginalized for over 100 years. The stories these men and women tell will leave you with hope in your heart for a better world.

We have an exciting day planned with displays of personal artifacts from countries of mission in Asia, Africa and Latin America, as well as a sampling of food from these regions. There will also be displays from Maryknoll’s Eco-Mission Team, Digital Marketing unit, and Gift Planning unit demonstrating new initiatives, and technological paths forward in support of Mission in our changing world.

You will be able to visit any of our gardens for quiet prayer and reflection, or stroll over to our farm which yields over five tons of produce each year for local food pantries in Westchester County.

A prayer service with a special selection of music reflective of Maryknoll, its history and the spirit of mission will conclude our day.

Admission is Free.  The activities begin at 1 pm, and the Prayer Service will begin at 3 pm.
