Sitting on Purpose
Lynn Trotta of Sagefire Institute will introduce the ancient practice of
Sit Spot: a form of daily meditation taking a person out of their head
and into their senses. Sit Spot, along with its associated core routines of
awareness, is done outside where nature becomes the Master and thus
draws forth the Master within. Participants will be given the inspiration
and key elements to integrating this life changing practice into their
everyday lives so they may:
-experience a greater sense of peace
-feel more connected to the natural world than ever
-feel healthier, more alive and more connected
-discover a profound sense of gratitude
* Please dress appropriately for the weather and provide for your personal level of
comfort. Bring a blanket or camp chair to sit on as most of the program will occur
outdoors.
