regalThe Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem is Celebrating Earth Day on April 25, 2010 beginning at 12pm.  It might be a few days late, but they planned an exciting bird of prey experience presented by Master Falconer, Lorrie Schumacher, of TALONS!

Guests will meet some beautiful feathered ambassadors during the educational and interactive bird of Prey experience.  One look into the ancient eyes of a raptor, and a human truly knows humility.  Catch a Raptor on your fist and you’ll feel your heart jump like never before!  It’s an experience of a lifetime!

Guests will also join in a howl while visiting with WCC’s ambassador wolves- Kaila, Apache, Lukas and Atka – and red wolves too!   Pre-registration is required.  More information and registration are available at www.nywolf.org.

Fee:  $20 – adults / $15 – children (under 12)

Founded in 1999. The Wolf Conservation Center (WCC) is a 501c3 organization that promotes wolf conservation by teaching about wolves, their relationship to the environment, and the human role in protecting their future.
