Four-time Grammy winner Pat Benatar and her husband and famed producer/songwriter Neil “Spyder James” Giraldo remain bold and distinctive artists both on stage and on record!

With two Multi-Platinum albums, five Platinum albums, three Gold albums and 19 Top 40 singles, including the Top 10 hits, “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” “Love Is a Battlefield,” “We Belong”, and “Invincible,” Benatar shows no signs of slowing down. Meanwhile, Giraldo is responsible for over 100 popular songs written, produced, arranged and recorded for Benatar and other top-tier talents like John Waite, Rick Springfield (including his hit “Jessie’s Girl”) and Kenny Loggins.

The two met in 1979 through a connection who believed Benatar needed a musical partner who could help her establish a more aggressive voice. Giraldo was the perfect match because he possessed the same bravado as she did. They’d get married in 1982 and become one of rock and roll’s dynamic duos.

Their debut album In the Heat of the Night (1979) was a smash from the get-go. With hits like “Heartbreaker” and “We Live for Love,” Benatar and Giraldo cemented their star beginnings. They’d go on to win Grammys and other awards throughout the 1980s.

To this day, Benatar and Giraldo remain a rock ‘n’ roll powerhouse, selling out concerts and wowing audiences after over three decades in music together. Their on-stage chemistry will undoubtedly thrill music-lovers forever!
